A Slice in Time was modeled from a 71-year-old photograph. A photograph of the same child in a slightly different position was featured in the Atlantic City Boardwalk Illustrated News of 1926. Clothed in old fashioned bib overalls, the boy represents an era gone and echoes tales of George Washington chopping down his father’s cherry tree. This work is the second in the life size children series.
